Venice - so much water....

Ciao from Venice,
This place is really different to anywhere else we have been. The city is surrounded by water and all the people who live here have a boat. Here's some photos to give you an idea of what it's like...

This was our last day of doing 'touristy' things. Alice had another concert that we went to in the evening and then it was a 2 hour flight to London to catch our connection with Air NZ to go back home. It's been a fabulous holiday...I hope you have enjoyed being with us vicariously through this page.

  2. Hi Siyona, there are water taxis everywhere in Venice.People ring for a taxi and they come and get them from their home. They can bring their water taxi right to the door.
I loved the masks too - they were very expensive though.
